Activities undertaken
- Royal Australian College of Surgeons Head and Neck Cadaver Workshop – facilitated by Dr Raj Gollapalli. Dissection experience including total laryngectomy, neck dissection, thyroidectomy, submandibular gland excision, parotid dissection and tracheostomy
- Observational attachment at Royal Hobart Hospital – 2 weeks with ENT unit – outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary meetings, operating theatre where cases mimicked those seen in the workshop
- Profound aspect was the direct anatomical-clinical correlation.
