Every Project Starts With a Dream
Every project starts with a dream — to change lives one person at a time.
At The Dreamin Foundation, we believe that sustainable healthcare outcomes begin with compassionate care, one life at a time. Founded in 2003 by the Rotary Club of Prospect Inc., DREAMIN (Dean Richards Endeavour to Assist the Medically Ill and Needy) was inspired by a simple yet powerful belief: that one act of kindness can change a life, a family, and an entire community.
What began as a small project supporting reconstructive surgery for a single patient in Malaysia has grown into a far-reaching network of South Australian medical professionals, providing vital healthcare and education across the Pacific, South East Asia, Africa, and here at home.

OUR MISSION
We exist to bridge the gap between healthcare and hope.
Our mission is to bring life-changing medical support to patients in need, locally in South Australia and in underserved regions overseas.
The Dreamin Foundation focuses on medical issues that are preventable, high-burden, and often overlooked. By working with local communities and supporting the doctors and specialists already on the ground, we ensure our projects create lasting impact rather than one-off interventions.
Every initiative we support, from early Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments in Adelaide, to ENT training in the Pacific, is guided by one principle: leave behind stronger, self-sufficient healthcare systems.

Our Projects
Making a Difference Where It’s Needed Most.
Every one of The Dreamin Foundation’s projects is born from compassion and guided by sustainability.
Wherever our work takes us, we focus on strengthening local healthcare systems, empowering professionals, and creating change that lasts long after the initial funding or training ends.
Our current initiatives, from early Autism assessments to specialist medical training, continue to transform lives and build healthier futures through compassion in action.
