With our ongoing requests from organisations and people to help with their medical concerns, it is essential that we get help from as many sources as possible.
Our current major project is H.E.A.R.S. (Hearing Evaluation, Assessment and Rehabilitation Service) and we are working with the people of Tonga to evaluate childrens hearing and helping with the many problems that have arisen from this initial assessment.
We have a request from Tonga to once again visit the country, but this time do the outlying islands. So we are embarking on a plan to go and help them in their request, but we do need help with some funding.
Workplace giving is a simple and tax effective way to make animpact on the lives of people, some of which are in life or death situations.
Workplace charity allows you to donate to the DREAMIN Foundation pre-tax through your payroll. Your donation is automatically deducted from your gross salary each pay cycle, meaning you receive immediate tax savings as the donation is made.
Workplace giving is the most simple and effective way to give and because you receive an immediate tax reduction through your payroll payment, you save time searching for receipts at tax time.
How does workplace giving benefit the DREAMIN Foundation? Workplace giving is a regular and reliable source of donating much needed funds and is the most cost-efficient way to give. It reduces administration costs for the DREAMIN Foundation as we only process one donation from each employer, allowing more of your valuable contribution to reach the hands of the people who need it most.
Some employers even match employee gifts, doubling your impact and allowing you and your colleagues to provide greater support to enable people living in dire need of medical attention.
What should you do?
If you are an employer and are thinking of setting up a workplace giving program in your organisation, we can help. Call us on 08 8267 4000 to make a lasting difference to people lives.
"If just 10% of the Australian workforce donated $5 per week through workplace payroll giving, an extra $260 million per year would be raised for our communities, and that’s before any matching from employers.” CAF Disasters,Donors and Giving Research April 2011
Leave a Bequest
A bequest is simply a gift that is written into your will. It can be a gift of cash, property shares or other investments. By leaving a gift in your will to The DREAMIN Foundation you can transform the lives of many people in dire need.
Bequests of a considerable proportion will have a permanent mark on society. Your philanthropic values will be rewarded with your choice of naming rights for one of The DREAMIN Foundation’s projects. Can you imagine… an orphanage named after you in Africa, or a hospital named after you in India or perhaps even a local research fund, what a better way to be remembered.
By making a bequest to The DREAMIN Foundation in your will, you can reach out to so many, transforming their lives from ones of desperation, to ones of hope.
